Signalyst Data Subscriptions

The Signalyst data platform provides access to our suite of investment signals across 12 key markets covering equities, fixed income, commodities and cryptocurrencies.

For each market we publish a daily risk signal and a set of supporting measures — implied return, implied volatility, and the expected number of regime changes — derived from our Bayesian Change Point model.

The signals at a glance

Each market is summarised in a single tile: the current trading signal, the slow and fast signals behind it, and a sparkline of recent movement.

Signal history

What 2020 shows

The trading signal moved to risk-off on 25 February 2020 and back to risk-on on 18 May. Through the drawdown between those dates, the strategy held its ground while the underlying market fell — the behaviour these signals exist to produce.

It is not a perfect record, and we would rather show you that than hide it. The re-entry came some weeks after the March low, so part of the rebound was given up. And on the shorter fast horizon the signal moved three further times in the autumn on what turned out to be noise — switch to Fast below and they are the narrow bands after September.

Three horizons, not three qualities. The trading signal is the one most subscribers act on — it combines the other two. In 2020 it moved once and moved back: risk-off on 25 February, risk-on on 18 May. Switch between them to see how the same market looks at each.

Market comparison is a back-test: the strategy line is what applying this signal to the underlying market would have produced over the period shown, net of modelled trading costs. It is not a record of live trading and not a client return. Past behaviour is not a guide to future results.

Signal data is updated daily and available historically for up to 30 years. This preview shows a single calendar year. Subscribers get the full history, across every market.
